My Weekend

This weekend brought my favorite kind of weather - pristine, perfect hiking weather. But unfortunately I've been too busy feeling sorry for myself to get outside. So much for making the most of the here and now. I suppose there's always next weekend.

My Weekend...

... was uneventful but rejuvenating. It's been overcast and cool - smells like rain is on the way but it hasn't really rained (not that I've seen anyway). I hiked 4 miles at Flaming Geyser State Park yesterday (Saturday) and as a result I slept a sound 8 hours straight last night! (I don't sleep well when I don't get a good dose of exercise.) Last night I also went for a swim in the indoor pool at the clubhouse of my apartment complex. Today I went back to the park and hiked another 3 miles. But the trail I took was harder this time so I'm more wiped than yesterday. I didn't take my camera with me so no pics. I'm starting to get excited about Mt. Rainier - the trails I really want to hike are almost ready :D

Right now I'm listening to music and waiting for my last load of laundry to dry. Later I might take a swim, cook myself a nice dinner, and relax some more. Aaaah, what a nice weekend!

My Weekend

The weather was crappy this weekend but I really didn't mind because it cooled off! (it was pretty warm last week which made for uncomfortable sleeping) And I also got to hang out with some friends (Karoake and alcohol were involved, tee-hee)so it turned out to be a great weekend.
