Mt Redoubt

So Mount Redoubt finally blew... but it had to go and start doing it's thing at 10:30pm when it was dark so we couldn't see a thing. Although, with all that ash I saw nothing but a gray haze on the webcams for days. It was reported the ash cloud was blown 12 miles into the air. Alaska Airlines had to cancel flights and wrap our planes in plastic to protect them from the ash, but flights have now resumed although eruptions continue.
