Sunday 9/15 Mt. Rainier

I went back to the mountain yesterday morning - surprise, surprise. It's a good thing I took a little nap when I got home Saturday because I only slept 2 hours Saturday night. I was up at 4:00 and on the road by 4:30am. I ended up driving 400 miles over the two day weekend and taking over 600 photos. But I was trying out a new camera Sunday, trying to get used to the manual settings, etc. so that is partly to count. The verdict is in, I'm exchanging the camera for another. It gave me better shots than my old camera, in fact some of the shots are dangerously close to being REALLY good photos, if I do say so myself. But I think I can do better with another camera. Meantime, enjoy the almost perfect photos. :)
Above: Ugh! So close yet so very far. This had the potential to be a great photo, if I knew what I was doing. lol
I said photography was my hobby, I didn't say I was good at it. I'm trying to get more serious about it though because my past results have been frustrating to say the least.

If only you could see the flower better :(
Okay, I'll stop critiquing now. I'm sure the flaws are obvious without my help.

My Focus enjoying the view.
That's it. Thanks for stopping by.
